Language in its all forms is integral to human communication. We transmit our thoughts and emotions through gestures, oral or written speech. Undoubtedly, language is a hallmark of advanced civilization. The quality of speech can show many aspects of a human’s life, and this article is dedicated to close relations between language and its speakers. The historical perspective was taken as centric.

Originally, people invented the language to facilitate communication. From that crucial point, it had significantly fostered every process in social life. Language made it possible for people to describe ideas and solve urgent problems. Thus, it created more space for them to cooperate and perform complex tasks faster. The efficiency of labor had significantly increased.

Undoubtedly, the appearance of language, both spoken and written, highlights the substantial level of society’s development. When you open any history book, you will see that primitive states never had writing systems.

The relations between language and people began when the latter ones were prepared enough as biological creatures. The reason for this is that language requires much more cognitive work than any other form of expression.

Scientists believe that learning a language positively affects our brains and can strengthen its health. If we step aside for a bit, many of you have heard about the impact of bilingualism. When a person takes up another language, one is more protected from dementia. We train our brains hard through merely memorizing words and word collocations.

Another side of the problem is linked to the cultural role of language. Each language is unique, but all of them carry a part of the culture. People shape the language by word coinage or intonation changes. Moreover, when new words appear, they bring in vivid shades of meaning to the existing variety. These were the simple things that none of us should forget. Language is one of the invaluable resources that forged the relationships between people. It is a reliable guard of our culture that we should preserve by any means.
